The
OTC 6006 is a Dodge Truck Locknut Socket. The Socket
is especially designed to accommodate the 1-11/16 (43 mm) wheel
bearing retaining nut which is recessed into the hub. It
is used to remove and install the front wheel bearing
retaining nut on 1994 and newer Dodge 1/2-ton pickup trucks
with Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 axle with
a vacuum disconnect. Since the retaining nut is recessed, the
special tool provides the depth needed. It has 1/2 drive
and can be used with an impact wrench.
